The Educational
Resource Library

We are building an ever increasing resource library of loans and props which are available to hire out to schools in order to provide fun and interactive methods for teaching children about recycling.

We have a papermaking kit (you just need to make your own pulp following our instructions). We also have a waste audit kit. This will enable you to safely investigate a day's worth of rubbish, weigh it, and record your data. To borrow either of these kits please email waste@gloucestershire.gov.uk

There are also posters to download here.

As a result of a partnership with the LSE (Library Services for Education) we are able to offer free book collections to RfG schools on waste and recycling related topics.

Collections consist of 12 books loaned for a two week period. If you would like to borrow a full project box of 25 items on waste and recycling for a term then you can do so via the LSE project service.

For further information about borrowing books please contact LSE on 01452 427240 or email lse@gloucestershire.gov.uk
