At Household Recycling Centres (formerly known as “The Tip”) you can recycle a wide range of materials.

Open 7 days a week
(except Christmas Day and New Year's Day)

Summer time 8:00am – 7:45pm
Winter time 8:00am – 4:45pm

Changes to the Household Recycling Centres from October 2008

If you are a van, pick up or vehicle with trailer user, and wish to use this vehicle to visit any of Gloucestershire County Council Household Recycling Centres, you will need to make an appointment before your visit.
 
To make an appointment please phone:
0845 602 9344 (lines open 9am – 5pm Mon to Fri) giving 24 hours notice. Proof of residency will be required on your visit.
 
**Please note you cannot make appointments
by phoning the County or local Councils**

 
If you are a trader the Household Recycling Centres cannot
accept any business waste, as it is illegal for HRCs to accept any waste from businesses.

All materials deposited at the Centres will be monitored to ensure that businesses and traders are not using these Centres.


Shipston-on-Stour

Gloucestershire and Warwickshire County councils have an agreement which allows Gloucestershire residents to use the Household Recycling Centre at Shipston-on-Stour. Click here for information on what you can recycle at this site.
